Pressure Vessels

A pressure vessel in a pump system plays a crucial role in stabilising both pressure and fluid flow. It functions as a buffer, absorbing excess pressure fluctuations and reducing the impact of surges or pulsations that may occur during the operation. By maintaining a more consistent pressure level, the vessel helps to ensure a steady and reliable flow rate, which is essential for the efficiency and longevity of the system. Additionally, by minimising sudden pressure changes, it reduces the strain on the pump, piping and other components, thereby decreasing the likelihood of mechanical failures, leaks or premature wear. This not only enhances the overall performance of the system but also contributes to lower maintenance costs and improved operational safety.

We offer a large range of vessels in both horizontal and vertical options ranging from 2 litres to 2000 litres which allows us to cover an expansive range of requirements offering a solution to most project needs.

PRESSURE VESSEL RANGES

PRESSURE WAVE

The PressureWave Series features a virgin polypropylene liner with an FDA-approved butyl diaphragm, secured by a steel clench ring. A brass air valve with a threaded O-ring cap prevents leaks, while water enters through a patented stainless steel connection. Reinforced diaphragm and liner enhance durability, with rounded internal parts preventing damage. Dual water/air seals ensure a leak-free design, and almond-coloured polyurethane paint offers UV and salt spray protection.

CHALLENGER VESSEL

Challenger tanks feature a patented CAD-2 diaphragm assembly for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. A chlorine-resistant butyl diaphragm and copolymer polypropylene liner ensure superior air and water separation. The internal clench ring securely holds drawdown water in a pre-charged air atmosphere, reducing condensation. An FDA-approved butyl diaphragm seals water in a non-corrosive chamber, enhancing durability, performance, and overall reliability.

C2LITE VESSEL

C2-Lite CAD tanks feature the patented CAD-2 diaphragm design for superior strength and durability, avoiding outdated bag technology for a longer lifespan. A 100% butyl diaphragm with a copolymer polypropylene liner ensures excellent air and water separation. Each tank size is optimised for drawdown performance, providing efficiency and reliability. Easy to install, weather-resistant, and rigorously tested for structural integrity, these tanks offer long-lasting, high-performance solutions.

SUPERFLOW VESSEL

SuperFlow series tanks are ideal for high-volume or high-pressure applications, such as booster systems and water hammer arresting in large buildings. Ranging from 50 to 10,000 litres, they offer one of the most comprehensive pressure tank lines globally. The interchangeable membrane allows easy replacement, and models over 100L include a built-in pressure gauge. Designed to EN13831:2007 standards and compliant with Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU, they ensure reliable performance.
